New Furry Faces

Hello Everyone,

It has been a while since we sent out a message. First off we apologize for our recent lack of communication, but we are working to do better from here. Since our last message out we have added two new furry faces to our team. If you follow our social media, then you have already been introduced. For anyone else, let me formally introduce you to K9 Joe and K9 Skye.

K9 Joe and K9 Skye both received their foundational training at The PennVet Working Dog Center. We have written about their program on our site before. These two canines represent the first time our program has had the opportunity to work with this amazing program. We are thrilled with both of these dogs, and are extremely thankful to have this opportunity. Since bringing both of these dogs home to North Idaho, they both passed their certification tests. This certifies them to be deploy to any K9 search missions with our organization. Both of these search teams also participate with Washington State Task Force 1, US&R. There is more information on these canines available on the rest of our website.

K9 Joe is sponsored by Rathdrum Animal Clinic and Dr. Aprill Sherman.

K9 Skye is sponsored by Newberg Homestead.

In addition, all of our canines are still sponsored by City of Coeur d’Alene Fire Department and Northwest Pet Resort.

We are incredibly grateful to these donors who make this possible, and we can’t wait to see how these K9s serve the community during their careers.
